Orderboom is for any business that orders stock and supplies.
With Orderboom you can place orders on your mobile device at any time. There is no need to individually contact your suppliers by making phone calls, leaving messages, faxing or emailing, or logging in to multiple supplier websites/portals. Chefs, hospitality and bar managers, tradespeople and hairdressers in particular are seeing huge time savings from using Orderboom to conduct daily and weekly purchase ordering.
Orderboom has been designed to be extremely simple, effective and can save time in any business.
How do I setup my suppliers and products in Orderboom?
There are currently two ways to do this.
The fastest way, if you have a lot of suppliers and products, is by completing the boom data template and then forwarding it to the Orderboom support team to upload this for you. This can be downloaded here. Email the completed template to email@example.com
Alternatively, if you only a have a couple of suppliers and a few products, or you just need to add a new product to an existing supplier, you can do this very easily yourself on the mobile app. The side menu (accessible from the top left of the home screen) is where you will find ‘Edit Suppliers’ and ‘Edit Products’. From there you can ‘+’ add suppliers and then products to your app.We are currently working on a solution that will allow you to manage this supplier and product data on a desktop computer, or any device with a web browser. This will be ready for you in Q1 2018.
Can I find new suppliers on Orderboom?
No. Orderboom is a tool designed to enable you to order more efficiently from your suppliers. We are not a marketplace, or somewhere to go to find new or cheaper products.
What will my suppliers receive when I order using Orderboom?
Your suppliers will receive an email with a beautifully formatted PDF purchase order document attached that has clear and exact information about the products you want to order. Information on the purchase order includes code, description, unit of measure and quantity desired.
If you have chosen to send a SMS order, that particular supplier will receive an SMS message formatted neatly with the same information. A PDF document is still created and can be accessed within the Orderboom Order History.
We have not included pricing on the order documents that your supplier receives as that is already agreed and determined between you and your supplier.
What if my supplier prefers SMS orders?
You can adjust your delivery preference in the supplier profile of that supplier (tap the side menu from the homescreen > then > edit suppliers).
If you have chosen SMS as the preference then that particular supplier will receive an SMS message formatted neatly with the same information. A purchase order document (PDF) is still created and can be accessed within the Orderboom Order History.
Note, if you are using Orderboom on an iPad then you will need to ensure it is signed into an iMessage account, OR has a sim card installed.
Do my suppliers need to do anything to use Orderboom?
No, all you need from your suppliers is an email address to send orders to, or a mobile number for receiving orders via SMS. Suppliers can then start receiving consistent and clearly formatted orders from you straight away.
What training and support is available for Orderboom?
Our support team is available on phone and email 24/7 - firstname.lastname@example.org.

What pricing is displayed on orders?
None. We understand that contract pricing often exists between you and your suppliers. The purchase orders sent by Orderboom therefor do not contain any pricing information and your supplier will invoice you as per normal.
Does Orderboom keep a history of what I have ordered?
You are able to see all past orders in the Order History and Re-Boom functions. You can quickly re-order when you're in a rush but know you might need roughly the same as last week, or you can amend the quantities required before sending. Boom!
Can I customise the email and purchase order document that is sent to my suppliers?
Yes. Much of the information you input when setting up your business appears on the purchase order, these fields can also be edited in the application. These are all accessed through the side menu of the Orderboom application “My Business”.
Further the 'PO Note' is able to be adjusted when you are sending orders - tap send on an individual order, then tap 'Adjust PO Note'. Whatever you type here will appear in the order email and on the PO.
Does Orderboom require payment or require me to use a credit card to place orders?
No, Orderboom has been designed to make ordering ‘in the trenches’ super fast.
You do not enter any payment details or pay for orders when you make them. Your current accounts processing process will remain. Generally this means the supplier will invoice you as per normal.
I am a supplier, how will Orderboom benefit me?
Do you ever get customers ringing you up that are difficult to hear down the phone?
